Paper-Less, Norlen win Manufacturing Leadership Awards

Paper-Less, an Oconomowoc, Wis.-based manufacturing software and services technology provider, and its customer Norlen, a metal fabricating company in Schofield, Wis., have been recognized as winners of Frost & Sullivan’s Manufacturing Leadership Council 2014 Manufacturing Leadership Awards.

Paper-Less earned a Manufacturing Leadership Technology Partner Award for contributing advanced manufacturing execution system (MES) software that was used as crucial technology for accomplishing the goals of Norlen’s mission-critical Paperless Manufacturing and Next Generation Production Operations Management project. The award-winning project was implemented using Paper-Less MV2 MES software, which offers digital shop packets, deep integration with production workflows, browser-based user interface, and multilingual support.

The project allowed Norlen to gain better control of shop floor scheduling, better monitoring of production quality, tighter integration of business-critical software applications, and a more environmentally friendly workplace.
