Paper-Less wins Manufacturing Leadership Award

Paper-Less, a Milwaukee-based manufacturing software and services technology provider, has announced that the company and its customer CPI Aerostructures Inc. have been recognized as winners of the Frost & Sullivan Manufacturing Leadership Council 2015 Manufacturing Leadership Award in the category of Engineering and Production Technology Leadership for a project designed to improve and streamline the shop floor labor data collection and management process using the Paper-Less manufacturing execution system (MES) software.

The software was used as crucial technology for accomplishing the goals of CPI Aero’s project. It optimizes production operations management for increasing efficiency while reducing paper. The software offers digital shop packets, deep integration with production workflows, a browser-based user interface, and multi-language support.

“Using this technology, CPI was able to develop and integrate software extensions to the MES that significantly improved the system login process for the shop floor workers and facilitated automated and reliable labor time collection for manufacturing,” said Barry Fratello, CPI Aerostructures vice president of administration.
