Peter’s Machine seeks buyer, investor, or partner

By the order of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Peter’s Machine Inc., Decatur, Ill., has retained Equity Partners HG (EP) to seek a buyer, investor, or partner for the tube sheet drilling and machine shop. The company has been in business for 36 years; for the past 20 years it has specialized in drilling and machining tube sheets and baffles for assemblers, fabricators, and manufacturers of heat exchangers and other types of shell and tube vessels.

The company, which operates in a 19,680-sq.-ft. facility, has experience with many different materials, including carbon steels; stainless steels; 200, 400, and 625 alloys; Hastelloy®; titanium; and explosion clad bonded materials. The company’s capabilities include working with hole sizes from 3/16 to 5-1/2 in. dia. and up to 10 in. depending on hole diameter and material. Face and circumference machining is provided, up to 124 in. dia.
