PTG receives FSW machine orders from Russia
PTG Heavy Industries, West Yorkshire, U.K., part of the Precision Technologies Group, has secured orders for two of its Powerstir friction stir welding machines from organizations in the Russian space industry.
Scheduled for delivery in early 2013, the machines will be used for joining metals including aluminum, aluminum alloys, steel, and titanium.
