Quality Iron Fabricators to open new steel fabrication facility

Memphis, Tenn.-based Quality Iron Fabricators has begun construction on a $7 million, 40,000-sq.-ft. fabrication facility and office complex in Albany, Tenn. Equipped with CNC fabrication machinery, the new plant will be able to expand another 250,000 sq. ft.

Capacity is expected to double over the next 18 months, with up to 100 new jobs created within two years. Completion is expected by summer 2012. The company also has a location in Houston, Miss.
