Raytheon Missile Systems named Alabama Manufacturer of the Year

Raytheon Co.’s Missile Systems business, Huntsville, Ala., has received the Manufacturer of the Year Award from the Business Council of Alabama. The award recognizes the Raytheon Redstone Missile Integration Facility for manufacturing excellence.

At the facility, located on the U.S. Army's Redstone Arsenal, technicians complete final assembly and testing of Standard Missile-3 and SM-6 interceptors. The missiles move inside the facility on special vehicles. These laser-guided transports handle all necessary hardware moves.
