Renishaw breaks ground on Illinois facility

Engineering technologies company Renishaw has begun construction of a 133,000-sq.-ft. office and warehouse facility in West Dundee, Ill. The two-story facility, which consolidates the company’s two existing sites, will serve as the North American headquarters. Slated for completion in June 2016, it will include space for product development, testing, warehousing, and distribution.

A 47,000-sq.-ft. area will be dedicated to warehousing and distribution, while the 86,000-sq.-ft. office portion will provide additional space for corporate services staff, as well as demonstration, training, and conference facilities. The additional space will include flexible training and demonstration areas, with an open two-story exhibit hall for customer tours and product demos.
