Schaeffler receives supplier award from Vestas

Schaeffler, Schweinfurt, Germany, a global integrated automative and industrial supplier, has received the Best Support to Profitable Growth award from wind turbine manufacturer Vestas.

The award was presented at the Vestas Supplier Conference 2016 in mid-June.

Schaeffler supplies Vestas with spherical roller bearings that are used as rotor shaft bearings in 2-MW and 3-MW wind turbines. The company has been producing bearing supports for wind turbines for more than 30 years.
