Schnitzer Steel Industries, Portland, Ore., has announced that it has earned Ethics Inside® certification and Anti-Corruption Program Verification™ from The Ethisphere Institute, a provider of independent verification of corporate ethics and compliance programs.

Recipients are recognized for demonstrating the existence of a superior employee and leadership culture that promotes ethical business practices. In addition, recipients must be able to prove they have designed, implemented, and enforced a robust, best-in-class, anticorruption program that can detect and prevent bribery and corruption.
