Sciaky launches website to highlight 3-D printing systems

Chicago-based Sciaky Inc., a subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries Inc. (PSI), has launched a new website at www.sciaky.com that features an expanded lineup of new metal 3-D printing systems based on its electron beam additive manufacturing (EBAM) technology.

The expanded lineup of equipment includes new options for medium, large, and extra-large part applications, making EBAM the most widely scalable metal 3-D printing system on the market (in terms of work envelope) for parts from 12 in. to 19 ft. long, the company states. Deposition rates are 7 to 20 lbs. of metal/hr.

The site also includes updated information on the company’s electron beam welding systems, as well as a recent video that shows how the EBAM technology is helping Lockheed Martin Space Systems 3-D print titanium propellant tanks for satellites.
