Smithco to relocate manufacturing operations to Texas, Mexico
Smithco Eng., a subsidiary of Hudson Products, has announced plans to combine its Tulsa, Okla., manufacturing operations with those of Hudson Products in Beasley, Texas, and Monterrey, Mexico. The company’s current staff of 115 will be reduced to about 20. The relocation is expected to be complete by mid-2017.
In addition, the firm will relocate its headquarters to new offices in Tulsa in early 2017. Its general management, sales, and aftermarket support personnel will be housed at the new location.
