Solar Atmospheres of California adds large-furnace capacity

Solar Atmospheres of CA has added large-furnace capacity to its facility in Fontana, Calif. The furnace allows the company to handle a multitude of diverse processing parameters that exist in the vacuum heat-treating industry.

The furnace has an 84-in.-dia. by 144-in.-long hot zone. Maximum operating temperature is 2,650 degrees F. The hearth supports more than 30,000 lbs.
