Solar Atmospheres receives first MedAccred reaccreditation

Solar Atmospheres Inc., Souderton, Pa., has become the first company to receive MedAccred critical process reaccreditation and has expanded its scope of accreditation to include hardness testing and metallography and microindentation hardness.

MedAccred is an industry-managed critical process supply chain oversight program developed by medical device companies to improve device quality and enhance patient safety. Solar Atmospheres received its first MedAccred critical process accreditation, for heat treating, in 2015.
