STI/SPFA webinar targets water infrastructure industry

The Steel Tank Institute/Steel Plate Fabricators Association (STI/SPFA), Lake Zurich, Ill., has announced a new webinar of interest to utility owners and engineers, design engineers, and consultants in the water infrastructure industry. "Steel Water Pipe Fittings and Design" takes place Friday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to noon CST.

The program, which offers CEU credits, covers outlet-reinforcing design, crotch plate reinforcing design, short-radius elbow design, reducer design, mechanical coupling harness restraint design, anchor rings, and miscellaneous special fitting design.

Webinar presenters are Dennis Dechant, PE, vice president, engineering, Dechant Infrastructure Services; and John Luka, PE, chief engineer, American SpiralWeld Pipe.
