Super Steel celebrates 90 years in business

Milwaukee-based Super Steel is marking its 90th anniversary this year.

The company was founded in 1923 as a manufacturer of metal basement windows, as well as metal fireproof windows and doors. It gradually began manufacturing metal cabinets, switchboards, air coolers for generators, and bombs for World War II. Today the company is a contract manufacturer serving the agricultural, construction, industrial, transportation, and defense markets.
