Super Steel to hire 60 workers

Super Steel LLC, a contract manufacturer of complex metal fabrication and assembly work based in Milwaukee, has announced plans to hire 60 employees immediately as a result of increased production levels. The work force additions will mostly be skilled manufacturing positions, including welders, CNC machine operators, painters, and assemblers.

The company also plans to launch several capital improvement projects, including additional robotic welding cells and upgrades to its powder paint coating operation.

Super Steel's work force in Milwaukee stood at about 230 in June, compared with 650 in 2008.
