Superior Joining Technologies wins work from Poland
Superior Joining Technologies Inc., Machesney Park, Ill., has shipped a welded frame to a customer in Poland for use in a papermaking machine.
The frame, previously produced completely in Poland, now is formed in the U.S. and shipped to SJTI for contract welding. The company added 1,970 individual welds to the part to hold tubes into the frame.
The completed papermaking machine will be installed in China for making paper for the Chinese market.
