Tenere acquires Protogenic to expand rapid prototyping capabilities

Tenere Inc., a designer and fabricator of complex metal and plastic components and assemblies in Dresser, Wis., has acquired Protogenic, Westminster, Colo., a rapid prototyping and casting company. The acquisition expands Tenere’s services for helping manufacturers transform complex engineering concepts into commercial products.

Protogenic's capabilities include stereolithography, laser sintering, 3-D printing, cast urethane, and cast silicone for customers in the medical devices, aerospace, defense, electronics, and consumer goods industries.
