ThomasNet.com adds certification app to database

ThomasNet.com®, New York, has added a certification application to its free platform. Buyers now can qualify commercial and industrial suppliers classified to 67,000 product and service categories by 80 different certifications/registrations and create a shortlist of those that hold the credentials.

The application’s database features ANSI, ISO, Nadcap, and SAE certified suppliers. Other government and industry certified suppliers such as ITAR, FDA, FAA, and MIL-SPEC also are included. Certificates for thousands of suppliers are available for download directly from suppliers’ in-depth profiles, which include capabilities, equipment lists, product information, brands carried, demographics, ownership, and diversity information. Video plant tours and product demonstrations also are provided.
