Thybar’s Louisville plant receives Kentucky’s Governor’s Health and Safety Award

Addison, Ill.-based Thybar Corp., a manufacturer of custom sheet metal products serving the HVAC and sheet metal industries, has announced that its plant in Louisville, Ky., has received Kentucky’s Governor’s Health and Safety Award in recognition of outstanding safety and health performance at the workplace.

To be eligible for the award, the company needed to have no serious OSHA violations in the past 24 months and 250,000 hours without a lost-time injury. The plant’s last lost-time injury was June 12, 2012, for a total of 282,192 hours worked without one from that date to the close of 2014.
