Tower International appoints president-Americas

Tower International Inc., an integrated global manufacturer of engineered structural metal components and assemblies, has announced the appointment of Jim Bernard as president-Americas, effective August 15. Bernard succeeds Bill Pumphrey, who is leaving the company.

"We also are fortunate and delighted to have a seamless transition of leadership to Jim Bernard, with his deep experience and knowledge of our company and customers."

Bernard has been with Tower for 23 years, serving most recently as senior vice president, sales and business development. Prior to that, he was for several years the vice president of sales and program management for Tower North America. His experience also includes positions in engineering and finance.
