Tredegar to close aluminum extrusion plant in Indiana

Tredegar Corp., Richmond, Va., has announced that its Bonnell Aluminum subsidiary will close its plant in Kentland, Ind. The plant, which has been operating at a loss for the past several years, is scheduled to close by Sept. 30.

Eligible employees will be offered severance and outplacement services. The plant currently employs 146 people.

Bonnell Aluminum is a supplier of aluminum extruded products focused largely in the building and construction markets. Tredegar Corp. is a global manufacturer of plastic films and aluminum extrusions.
