Triton Industries adds infrastructure, staff

In preparation for anticipated growth in the third quarter of 2012, custom metal fabricator Triton Industries Inc., Chicago, has made recent additions to its infrastructure and staff.

Following a 22 percent increase in new custom metal orders in the second quarter of 2012, the company expanded its staff of skilled metalworkers and hired Ray Graciano as chief engineer. Graciano previously worked at Amada America as laser and turret applications engineer.

The company also has added an Amada FOM2 laser to the turret presses, press brakes, stamping presses, spot welding machines, and GMAW and GTAW machines in its 100,000-sq.-ft. facility.

It provides products and services to the aerospace, medical, agricultural, vending, gaming, security, and transportation industries.
