U.S. congressman tours Unitrac Railroad Material

U.S. Rep. John Duncan Jr., R-Tenn., joined the National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC) for a tour of Unitrac Railroad Material’s headquarters and manufacturing facility in Knoxville, Tenn., March 17. The facility manufactures trackwork, new and relay rail, and other track material and components. The company employs 145 workers.

Duncan is a member of the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure's Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines and Hazardous Materials, which helps to oversee the economic and safety regulation of railroads.
