U.S. exporters invited to participate in FABTECH Mexico

The U.S. Commercial Service is inviting U.S. exporters to participate in FABTECH® Mexico, the largest metalworking trade event in Mexico, to be held May 4-6, 2016, in Mexico City. As the ideal marketplace for matchmaking meetings with large-scale distributors in the field, this year’s event, covering 100,000 sq. ft., is expected to attract more than 450 exhibitors and draw more than 12,000 attendees from Mexico and Central America.

As the Mexican government continues to pursue value-added manufacturing investments along the border, new opportunities are opening up for U.S. metal and components suppliers looking to supply manufacturing plants. “FABTECH Mexico is an excellent venue for U.S. exhibitors to network and meet potential customers while exhibiting their capabilities, raw materials, and equipment for Mexican production plants,” said Robert Queen, director of the El Paso U.S. Export Assistance Center. “The U.S. Commercial Service presence at FABTECH will assist U.S. exhibitors by helping them make key introductions to foreign buyers through export counseling and one-on-one business matchmaking meetings.”

The U.S. Commercial Service will participate in the event at booth #3256.

The matchmaking platform is available through www.bizcnets.com/expousa/expo-fab16.html. Exhibitors can register, upload, and display marketing materials and make them visible to all visitors. Information can remain there for up to six months free of charge.
