United Steel launches United Metal Solutions

United Steel Inc. has launched a new division to fabricate metal parts and components. United Metal Solutions provides strategic production services for manufacturers, maintenance and repair operations, public utilities, aerospace companies, and power generation firms located primarily in the northeastern U.S.

The division is based in United Steel’s 125,000-sq.-ft. automated fabrication facility in East Hartford, Conn.

United Metal Solutions uses United Steel’s team of welders, ironworkers, engineers, and precision machinists to cut, drill, fabricate, weld, and assemble parts and components of all sizes. Materials include carbon and stainless steel, bronze, brass, aluminum, and alloy in forms including bars, pipes, tubing, structurals, plates, and sheets. United Steel’s estimators, project managers, and quality control professionals provide support for the new division.

United Metal Solutions is led by Sales Manager Dylan Altieri. A 15-year veteran in the metal fabrication industry, he previously served as sales and marketing manager with Denman & Davis in New Jersey.
