Volvo Cars to build factory in U.S.

Volvo Cars has announced plans to build a new $500 million manufacturing facility in the U.S. Full details regarding the location of the new factory and the size of the investment will be announced at a later date. The firm already runs two factories in Europe and two in China.

The automaker has a medium-term goal to sell 100,000 cars per year in the U.S.
