Watson Eng. achieves Caterpillar’s 7SWE status for fourth time

Watson Eng., a sheet and tubular metal fabrication company providing metal prototype and production parts, has announced that its facility in Taylor, Mich., has achieved Caterpillar’s 7 Steps to Weld Excellence (7SWE) status for the fourth consecutive year.

The certification is awarded to suppliers that have achieved the highest level of quality through rigorous training and adherence to strict weld standards. An essential part of this program is to ensure that all Watson welders become certified through formal training, hands-on activities, and passing a final written exam.
