Weaver Fab & Finishing receives Women's Business Enterprise certification

Weaver Fab & Finishing, an Akron, Ohio-based precision metal fabrication company serving the aerospace, medical, food equipment, heating and cooling, packaging equipment, and robotics industries, has received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE).

The designation was presented by the Ohio River Valley Women’s Business Council, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Weaver now is one of 930 WBE organizations in the council’s region of Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

WBENC’s national standard of certification involves an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51 percent owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or women.
