Winchester Metals expands manufacturing operation in Virginia
Winchester Metals, a steel distribution, processing, and fabrication facility, invested $140,000 in new equipment at its manufacturing operation in Frederick County, Va.
As part of its expansion, the company installed a Lincoln Automate 35HS robotic welding system that performs repetitive welding operations automatically. Through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program, 29 existing employees will be retrained to operate new machinery.
