Winnebago Towables to expand in Indiana

Winnebago Towables has announced plans to expand its operations in Middlebury, Ind., creating up to 150 new jobs by 2019.

The company, which is a subsidiary of Forest City, Iowa-based Winnebago Industries Inc., invested about $5.4 million to purchase four previously leased facilities that cover 277,330 sq. ft. on its 31-acre campus. The company plans to increase production at the facilities and invest nearly $250,000 in equipment over the next few years to meet growing demand for the company’s line of Winnebago towable RVs.
