Women in Manufacturing announces 2014 inaugural board of directors

Women in Manufacturing™ (WiM), a national organization dedicated to the attraction, retention, and advancement of women in the manufacturing sector, has announced the election of 12 members to its inaugural board of directors.

The board members are:

• Karla Aaron, president, Hialeah Metal Spinning Inc., Hialeah, Fla.
• Krista Brookman, vice president, Catalyst, Milwaukee
• Elizabeth Engels, independent consultant, ACER Consultants, Timken (retired), Canton, Ohio
• Lisa Habe, president and chairman of the board, Interlake Industries Inc., Willoughby, Ohio
• Kellie Johnson, president, Ace Clearwater Enterprises, Torrance, Calif.
• Sheila LaMothe, manager, marketing and public relations North America, TRUMPF Inc., Farmington, Conn.
• Una Lauricia, senior intellectual property sttorney, Eaton Corp., Cleveland
• Doneen McDowell, plant manager, Detroit Hamtramck Assembly and Brownstown Battery Assembly, General Motors
• Diana Perreiah, president, building and construction systems - North America, Alcoa, Atlanta
• Shontra Powell, VP global client solutions, Johnson Controls Inc., Milwaukee
• Catherine Werner, environmental, health and safety leader, General Electric, Louisville, Ky.
• Gretchen Zierick, president, Zierick Manufacturing Corp., Mount Kisco, N.Y.

The board will convene for the first time on Aug. 20, 2014.
