Women in Manufacturing launches community chapter in Chicago

Women in Manufacturing™ (WiM), Cleveland, has launched a community chapter in Chicago. The newly established chapter will host an event in downtown Chicago on Thursday, July 9, 2015, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Carnivale restaurant.

WiM Illinois is directed by Beth Falls, employee benefits adviser at Assurance.

WiM communities are designed to bring together women in their states, allowing them to develop new contacts, participate in local networking events, and become advocates for women in the manufacturing industry while learning about business development and job opportunities in their communities.

WiM is a national organization of more than 500 members dedicated to the attraction, retention, and advancement of women who are pursuing or have chosen a career in the manufacturing industry.
