Woodlawn Mfg. names plant manager

Woodlawn Mfg., Marshall, Texas, has announced that Cory R. Mayo has joined the company as plant manager.

Mayo previously served as director of operations for two Stoneridge plants, a manufacturer of electronic components, modules, and systems for the automotive, truck, and agricultural markets. He has held similar leadership positions with Trostel, Orchid Intl., and Parker Hannifin’s Thermoplastic Division.

A certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Mayo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Dayton and an M.B.A. from Ohio University.

Woodlawn Mfg. is an integrated high-volume, precision manufacturer of metal parts and assemblies for the defense, oil and gas, aerospace, automotive, and HVAC industries. The company is a first- and second-tier supplier to the U.S. military, producing rocket warhead bodies, countermeasure flare cases, and other ammunition.
