XCMG opens wholly owned manufacturing base in Brazil

Construction machinery manufacturer XCMG, based in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, China, has opened a manufacturing facility in Pouso Alegre, Minas, Brazil.

As the first overseas wholly owned manufacturing base of the company, the facility covers 8,611,128 sq. ft. The $2 billion plant will produce 7,000 construction products annually, including mobile cranes, hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, compaction machinery, and motor graders. The location also includes an R&D center.
