Laser Services implements new manufacturing software program

Laser Services Inc., a precision laser job shop located in Westford, Mass., has built out new modules in its 2009 MRP software system, E2, resulting in a 95 percent rate for on-time deliveries.
Every step in the company's design and production process, from purchase orders to production and shipping, now is monitored and controlled through a custom-developed MRP scheduling component in E2. This software component has been combined with employee training to give the company foresight to predict pipeline challenges and inventory needs.
