SAF appoints fabrication production manager

SAF (Southern Aluminum Finishing Co. Inc.), Atlanta, has promoted Howard Mount to production manager responsible for all of the company's metal fabricating operations, including shears, brakes, turrets, drills, sanding, and assembly.

Mount, who has been with the company for three years, served most recently as project manager. In that position he oversaw the complex fabrication of custom stainless steel panels for the National Museum of the Marine Corps, Triangle, Va., which opened last year. Before joining SAF, Mount held positions with United States Aluminum Commercial Products Group and Kawneer NA.

SAF distributes, fabricates, anodizes, and paints aluminum sheet, extrusion, column covers, architectural panels, and commercial roofing trim.
