BCN Technical Services expands press rebuild capabilities

BCN Technical Services has completed a 13,000-square-ft. addition to its Hastings, Mich., facility specifically designed for the refurbishment and assembly of small to medium-size mechanical and hydraulic metal forming presses. The expansion, which includes a 15-ton overhead crane and loading dock, increases the company's press rebuild capacity and offers the option for a secure area separate from the main floor for situations that require customer confidentiality.

Said President Dan Savage, "Virtually any press, including those 50 or more years old, can be rebuilt for a fraction of the cost of a new press. Even full remanufacturing to OEM specifications can bring dramatic savings compared to new."

The company also manufactures genuine OEM parts and maintains an extensive library of original press engineering drawings for a number of brands.
