Beckwood adds structural engineer

Beckwood Press Co., St. Louis, a manufacturer of hydraulic presses, has appointed Josh Schroeder as manufacturing manager and added Travis Tilley to its structural engineering team.

Schroeder oversees customer service, safety, quality control, and all engineering divisions. He also acts as engineering liaison for the manufacturing facility personnel, which involves coordinating manufacturing and scheduling, as well as working to instill safe practices. Schroeder has more than 15 years of experience in industrial manufacturing and Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Missouri State University.

Tilley is responsible for creation and coordination of structural drawings and approvals, and he contributes to the company's finite element analysis (FEA) program. Most recently he served as mechanical design engineer/electrician for Custom Rollform Products. He has more than six years of experience in industrial engineering and has associate's degrees in applied electrical technology and industrial electronics and electrical technology from Vatterott College.
