Bosch Rexroth opens facility in Slovenia

Bosch Rexroth AG has opened a production site in Skofia Loka, Slovenia. The facility, which employs almost 200, produces linear, torque, and modular motors used in automotive production, newspaper printing presses, and packaging machinery.

The new site expands the company's production capacity in Central and Eastern Europe by about 5,300 sq. m. The layout and operating sequences have been designed in accordance with the Bosch Production System, a unified concept for setting up and optimizing production processes.

The company has had its own factory in Slovenia since 1998, taking over part of the operations of the Domel Group and founding Indramat Elektromotorij in Zelezniki, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
