Coe Press Equipment ships two feed lines to Takata

Coe Press Equipment, Sterling Heights, Mich., has shipped two press feeding lines to Takata’s San Antonio, Texas, stamping plant.

Each line comprises an 18-in. ServoMaster™ 3 series roll feed; a style 350 18-in. power straightener; a 24-in., 15,000-lb.-capacity coil reel; and an 18- by 18-in. threading table. The lines can achieve speeds of up to 367 FPM and handle steel with 50,000-PSI yield from 0.020 to 18 in. thick, depending on the coil width.

The lines also feature an alligator peeler-dekinker station, an automatic lubrication system, and ultrasonic variable-speed loop control.
