Keats Mfg. opens precision metal stamping plant in Mexico
The Keats companies have opened a new manufacturing plant in El Marques, Queretaro, Mexico. Keats de Mexico produces complex precision metal stampings, wire forms, and assemblies for the automotive, electrical distribution, medical, electronics, appliance, and home automation industries.
The 15,000-sq.-ft. facility will employ 15 to 20 people. The company also operates manufacturing plants in Wheeling, Ill., and El Paso, Texas.
The company manufactures parts using precision stamping equipment with a focus on four-slide, multislide, and progressive die stamping from 1 to 150 tons. The company also has a dedicated in-house tool development team.
