Mate Precision Tooling appoints vice president of operations

Mate Precision Tooling, Anoka, Minn., a manufacturer of CNC punch press tooling, has promoted Andy-Spence Parsons to vice president operations. He is responsible for the company's customer service, custom engineering, shipping, and information services departments.

Spence-Parsons joined the company in 1991 as general manager of Mate Punch and Die Ltd., Rugby, England. He relocated to Minnesota in 2002 and joined Mate's headquarter operations in Anoka as marketing manager. In that capacity he developed marketing and sales support programs for the company's domestic and international operations. He worked for Mate customers in engineering before joining the Rugby operations.

Spence-Parsons earned certificates in mechanical and production engineering from Dunstable College and St. Albans College. He received a diploma in management studies from Putteridge Bury Management Center of Luton University.
