NCCA names technical director

The National Coil Coating Association (NCCA), Cleveland, has named Al Dunlop to the position of technical director. He works to advance the association's strategic objectives by enhancing the group's technical competence. As part of his position, Dunlop will connect with other associations and technical bodies to collaborate on key projects.

Dunlop holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Toronto. He has served as vice president of coil and extrusion coatings at Valspar, director of building products and various technical roles at Glidden, and as business development manager at Novacor Chemical. He served on the NCCA board of directors from 2001 to 2004 and has presented at NCCA technical conferences.
