Nidec Minster announces management changes

David Winch, CEO/vice chairman, board of directors.

Nidec Minster Corp., a provider of presses, feeds, coil handling equipment, and die transfer equipment in Minster, Ohio, has announced several organizational changes.

Effective June 1, David Winch will assume the role of CEO/vice chairman of the board of directors. John Winch will step down as CEO/president but will continue to assist the firm in a consulting role.

Steve Gruber will become president/COO. He is responsible for the company’s activities in the Machinery, Automation, Midwest/Operations and Services Divisions, as well as human resources.

Ron Arling will serve as executive vice president/CFO. He will continue overall responsibility for internal company functions focusing on managing the financial wellness, compliance, and information technology. Arling also will assume overall responsibility for mergers and acquisitions, along with integration of new companies.

Rick Schwartz will become vice president of the Machinery and Automation Divisions, continuing his focus on sales, engineering, marketing, and purchasing. Managing Director Tim Fletcher will assume responsibility for the Services Division.
