Ogihara America names president

Ogihara America Corp., a Thai Summit Group company in Howell, Mich., has named Chumpol Rangson as president. He replaces Hiroaki Sugiura, who has served as company president since 2008.

Rangson comes to the company from Thai Summit Autoparts Industry, where he served as director of overseas operations. There he was responsible for developing and maintaining manufacturing operations business plans and production quality standards and coordinating activities with all Thai Summit locations and suppliers operating throughout Asia.

Rangson has been with Thai Summit since 1980 and has served in many operational management positions within the group. He holds a bachelor's degree in business science from the University of Palm Beach.

Ogihara America provides engineering, stamping, and assembly services as well as tool and die design, construction, modification, and refurbishment.
