Schuler appoints managing director of Systems Division

Schuler Pressen GmbH, Göppingen, Germany, has appointed Johannes Linden as managing director and head of the Systems Division, effective March 1. He currently is employed as managing director of Mall + Herlan.

In October 2013, Schuler merged its eight technology fields into six market divisions. The Systems Division includes packaging machines, minting presses, equipment for the manufacture of laminations for electric motors, and die engineering and construction. The other divisions are automotive, hydraulic (including hydraulic forging equipment), industry (blanking and forming systems, as well as mechanical forging equipment), service, and automation.
