Schuler to build new demonstration center in China

Schuler has begun construction of a new demonstration center in Tianjin, China. The Servo TechCenter Tianjin will feature a press with TwinServo Technology (TST) and a force of 1,600 metric tons. Schuler is investing more than 10 million euros in the project.

Construction is expected to be completed in spring 2015. As of 2016, the company also will use the facility to produce parts for the growing Chinese market for dual-clutch and automatic transmissions. The facility will initially employ about 30 people, increasing to 50 to 60 employees in the second expansion stage.
