The Watermill Group acquires EMI

The Watermill Group, a Lexington, Mass.-based private investment firm, has acquired Experi-Metal Inc. (EMI), Sterling Heights, Mich., a provider of prototyping and complex metal formed parts and assemblies for the automotive, aerospace, and other industries.

EMI complements its Watermill sister company, Quality Metalcraft (QMC), together offering end-to-end prototype and niche production services.

The acquisition is Watermill’s second major transaction in the automotive industry in 12 months.
