Tejas Tubular Products to build plant in Indiana
Tejas Tubular Products, Houston, has announced plans to construct a new facility in New Carlisle, Ind. The plant will focus on the heat treatment and manufacturing of 4.5- through 9.625-in.-OD well casing for the oil and gas industry.
With an annual capacity expected to exceed 72,000 tons annually, the primary output of the facility will be heavier-weight production casing with semipremium and premium threaded connections. The plant is expected to create 100 jobs.
